Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a commonly used tool to assist people who have identified cognitive errors which are impacting on their day to day life.
This therapeutic approach to helping resolve emotional and behavioural disturbance is undertaken by working with their physical, sensory, cognitive and behaviour responses to internal and external events.
This basic overview will help the therapist understand the A-B-C model, look at desensitisation and how to develop behavioural experiments (CBT interventions).
